The longest phase of a website's life starts after launch, and it is usually the phase nobody watches. Speed slowly declines, the CMS ages, plugins start conflicting, rankings slip. This is usually noticed only when inquiries drop, and by then everything needs fixing at once.

The two most common causes have their own articles. They are why your website loads slowly and when your website needs a redesign, the second one mostly about keeping traffic through a rebuild.

Most of these articles grew out of real support requests, after something had already broken, so there is little general advice in them. We handle the routine part of this ourselves. What that covers is on project support and development.
